IFA Berlin will be from September 4 to 9
Dubai, UAE; The world's largest consumer electronics trade show - IFA Berlin - which will be held from September 4 to 9 at the German capital. IFA will introduce this year a new technology for TV screens that have reduced energy consumption and slimmer units and a lot more.
IFA is segmented into seven categories: Home Entertainment, Audio Entertainment, Home Appliance, My Media, Public Media, Communication, and Technology and Components.
In 2008, a total of 1,245 exhibitors took part, while visitor attendance reached 213,272. It is the industry's number one meeting place for doing business, with orders placed in excess of EUR 3 billion
IFA 2009 will provide the latest technologies and the most creative designs and ideas for both the consumer electronics sector and household industry. For the consumer electronics sector, the focus is on media use at home and on the move; while the household industry is concerned about many aspects, such as comfort, lifestyle, health and wellness.
According to Mr. Dirk Koslowski, Senior Executive Manager of IFA Berlin, and Ms. Salma M. Tillawi, Regional Representative of Messe Berlin, IFA 2009 will provide the ideal platform for retailers and buyers from this region to gain access to the international consumer electronics sector in its entirety.
Dubai enjoys a strategic location and serves as the biggest re-exporting center in the Middle East. It is a time zone bridge between the Far East and Europe on the East-West axis and the Commonwealth of Independent States and Africa on the north-south axis.
IFA is an inspiring event for UAE-based businessmen, as it always ensures a unique success every year. A high percentage of its VIP trade visitors are decision makers from major companies from the UAE and the Gulf. Also, a lot of trade visitors are coming from the Middle East to IFA annually.
