Dubai, November 6th 2007: The ever-popular Wild Wadi Water Park, part the dynamic and fast growing Dubai-based luxury hospitality group, Jumeirah, has received its 5 millionth visitor. The lucky guest has been rewarded with a 5 night stay for 5 people in a 5 star resort in South Africa, where the group will have the chance of spotting the Big 5 animals in their natural habitat.
Mrs Akiko Irimajiri from Japan was the 5 millionth guest to enter Wild Wadi Water Park since it opened in August 1999. Mrs Irimajiri who is holidaying in Dubai with her family was celebrating her son, Ryota's, 10th birthday and was greeted by the park's Executive Team and Wild Wadi Characters, she later commented: "I can't believe it, we were all very excited to come to Wild Wadi today and celebrate Ryota's birthday, but to be the 5 millionth visitor and win such a fantastic prize is amazing!"
Chris Perry, Manager of Wild Wadi Water Park, added: "The Wild Wadi team has been eagerly anticipating this mammoth milestone and we were thrilled to be able to celebrate this with one of our valued guests".
In 2006, Ms Mojgan Hatef from Iran became the 4 millionth visitor to Wild Wadi, and had an unforgettable day when she was presented with a fantastic prize package of a family holiday to New York, staying at the luxurious Jumeirah Essex House.
