Wataniya Telecom, the red carpet company, today announced the launch of Prepaid Roaming enabling all its prepaid customers the ability to stay in touch while traveling overseas. Also Postpaid customers no longer need to pay deposits to obtain roaming. .

Launching just in time for summer travel plans, Wataniya customers can now roam in a large number of popular holiday destinations following a simple rate plan requiring no deposit. The service package also features an information portal where Wataniya customers can access essential travel information including local listing and attractions compiled in association with Time Out Magazine.

"Making customers life more comfortable is our key target. Taking off the barriers and enabling roaming is the inevitable thing to do," said Harri Koponen, CEO & general manager, Wataniya Telecom.

Wataniya's Prepaid Customers have been empowered with roaming capability and do not need to convert to Postpaid  to enjoy the benefits of roaming. All the Wataniya prepaid customer needs to do in order to roam is to travel abroad.

Pre-paid customers can make calls right now in top 10 destinations, receive calls and send and receive SMS messages. While abroad customers can top up their credit via a number of ways such as using a Wataniya X-Press Recharge card, credit card, K-Net card by SMS or Internet.

Wataniya's Postpaid customers no longer require to pay a deposit in order to subscribe to roaming services. Wataniya has removed all barriers to enable its customers to stay in touch. Postpaid customers can also share picture messages with their loved ones via MMS while on vacation. to subscribe to the free activation of roaming services before traveling, call Wataniya's customer care on 121.

Wataniya's new Time Out city guide provides its customers access to the latest information about their destination of choice. The guide provides information about accommodation, eating out, how to get around as well as up to date event information rated by Time Out resident journalists accessed by simply sending an SMS of the city name to 1565.

These services are another great benefit to all Wataniya customers who have upgraded for free to the new Wataniya SIM card.
