MSC Status Firm Set to Benefit from the Region's Rapidly Growing Mobile Wireless Industry with Data Mobility Solutions like HSDPA Devices - USB Data Modems, WiFi Routers and Docking Routers

Dubai, UAE. 21st October, 2008 - One of the fast growing manufacturers in Asia's wireless mobile data sector, Malaysia's VigSys Sdn Bhd ("VigSys"), is set to expand its operations into the Middle East, thanks to the Region's (as well as the global) burgeoning mobile wireless sector.  

VigTech Labs Sdn Bhd ("VigTech"), a data mobility solutions provider, today unveils in Dubai the VigSys low cost WiFi Router developed to support HSxPA (3.5G) USB Modem connection.  On LAN, the Wireless Docking Gateway (VD30) supports both wireless WiFi 802.11b/g and Ethernet 10/100Mbps interfaces.  It is a HSDPA or HSUPA (HSxPA) USB Modem docking station that converts HSDPA USB Modems into a fully featured WiFi Router (i.e. it converts single user USB modem into multiple users ready WiFi Router), thereby reduces the cost of broadband access via sharing.  No fixed line or DSL cable connection needed, users need only to dock a USB Modem to the device to create an instant hotspot. 

Open and unlocked, VD30 is compatible with most of the USB modems in the market including those by Huawei, Option and Novatel.  It is available at an attractive price, in 5 different colours.

In addition, VigSys is also proud to introduce its other products here and they are the USB Modem (VM10) and the Wireless Modem WIFI Router (VR20). 

The VM10 is a global modem featuring tri-band HSDPA/UMTS and quad band EDGE/GPRS frequencies with maximum downlink speed of up to 7.2Mbps and uplink speed of 384Kbps.  It is a true plug-and-play mobile broadband solution which users can connect to Laptops or PC USB connectors for instant broadband access.  Light weight and compact, VM10 is powered solely through USB interfaces and as such, no external battery is required.

The VR20 on the other hand is a mobile wireless access modem with WIFI router.  It offers mobile broadband WAN HSDPA connection with a downlink speed of up to 7.2Mbps.  On the Local Area Network (LAN), it supports both wireless WiFi 802.11b/g and wired Ethernet 10/100Mbps connections.  Also a true plug-and-play, users are able to create an instant internet hotspot or home wireless network by simply inserting the SIM by the service provider into the device.  Truly portable, the VR20 is a perfect mobile broadband connection (e.g. in train stations, airports, meeting rooms etc.).  It is also ideal as a replacement or a back-up alternative to wired broadband connection.
