Latest Models Unveiled; Include Professional-Grade Colour and Performance from 19-inches to 28-inches

Dubai, UAE - 23 April 2008 - The Middle East and Africa operations of ViewSonic Corporation this week unveiled the latest additions to its innovative VX 40 series, VP 50 series and VLED line of widescreen LCD displays, forecasting double digit growth in the MEA region through key differentiators including display size, colour quality, and wide format features.

Integrating ViewSonic's new OptiColor Tecnology and boasting ultra fast ClearMotiv video response time, ViewSonic's professional-grade, market-leading displays tout industry-leading color performance in a unique, multiuse design to enhance the PC entertainment experience and desktop computing.

Driving performance through colour, the VP 50 Series - 22-inch widescreen VP2250wb, 26-inch widescreen VP2650wb and traditional 4:3 19-inch VP950b - includes up to 110 percent color gamut (VP2650wb) based on the National Television System Committee (NTSC) guidelines and OptiColor technology for better accuracy and more detailed images in any viewing environment. In comparison, most CRT and LCD monitors on the market today only display 70 to 80 percent of the NTSC's range of colors.  

With exquisite style, including invisible speakers and a glossy black finish, the 28-inch VX2835wm and 19-inch VX1940w from ViewSonic's VX 40 Series provide consumers with a display that will be aesthetically pleasing in many rooms of the home and office. The HDMI enabled displays provide a true HD experience, whether connected to a PC, HD gaming console or an HD video source meaning that games, HD movies, videos and graphic-intensive applications have never looked better on a desktop. The widescreen display enhances productivity by allowing users to view two documents side-by-side or to work in two applications without toggling.

ViewSonic's LCD displays feature the latest in Dynamic Contrast Ratio technology that automatically detects the image signal and intelligently controls that backlight brightness to make the black blacker in dark scenes, and the white whiter in bright environments providing for a better user experience and excellent front-of-screen performance. An additional advantage of Dynamic Contrast Ratio technology is its power-saving capability; ViewSonic's 22-inch VLED221wm widescreen LCD features a mercury-free backlight that requires less power than a standard 22-inch LCD but produces more brilliant color and crystal-clear images.

All ViewSonic VP series displays support HDCP, are Windows Vista Certified and offer an ultra-slim bezel featuring an industrial design that enables advanced ergonomic adjustments - including 4.7-inch height adjustment range, a 120 degree swivel, pivot and tilt. With their ThinEdge design and integrated mounting holes, these new models also allow for easy tiling of multiple displays. All displays offered in the VP Professional and VX Consumer Series carry the Windows Vista logo, which ensures reliability, stability, security and proper installation, as well as the ability to take advantage of the latest Windows innovations and functionalities.
