New Technology Brings Rapid Information Access for Region's Campuses and Data Centres
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - A high-tech 10 Gigabit fibre optic cabling solution - which enables companies and colleges to deploy some of the world's most advanced networking technology - will be on display at GITEX technology exhibition for the first time in the Middle East.
The LANscape Pretium Solution range matches fibre optic cable, hardware and test equipment with high-level technical support and engineering services. The company behind it, Corning, sees a number of strong potential markets for the solution in the Middle East, particularly in the education and data centre sectors, working in partnership with the Middle East distributor, OnLine Distribution.
The number of data centres in the Middle East has effectively tripled in the past five years, driven by the expanding economies of the region and the increasing complexity of many companies' operations.
Advanced fibre optic solutions are seen as critically important in helping these data centres manage increasing volumes of data at faster speeds, with greater efficiency.
