Abu Dhabi, 11 April 2013:  Union National Bank (UNB) received a certificate of appreciation for being a strategic sponsor of the 2013 Annual ECSSR Conferences.

The Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies & Research (ECSSR) will be hosting 3 Annual Conferences in 2013, namely "Annual Energy Conference, Annual Education Conference and the Annual conference". These conferences are being held under the patronage of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, President of the ECSSR.  

The 18th Annual Conference is the first of the conferences themed "'The Future of Warfare in the 21st Century' and was held in 9th & 10th April 2013 and discussed the changing nature of warfare and the new challenges facing national security, innovation in the defense industry and the future role of technology in military use.

The Annual Energy Conference will identify prevailing trends in the development of energy technologies with the aim of charting their potential role in shaping the future of world energy demand and supply.

The Annual Education Conference will discuss the strategies and policies of education in the UAE.
