UCan helps companies measure readiness for unified communications
Pinpoints individual areas of opportunity for rapid business benefit
Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications software, systems and services, is introducing a special online assessment tool, "UCan," which helps regional companies of all sizes assess their unified communications needs.
"End users will naturally embrace the tools that help them do their job more easily," said Roger El Tawil, marketing and channel director for Avaya in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. "The UCan test takes the risk out of deciding which tools will help people with different work styles perform better by putting the power to decide in their hands."
Using a series of best-practices-devised questions, UCan will guide companies and show their current stage of readiness for unified communications. "It pinpoints individual companies' areas of weakness, and identifies which solutions would enhance their business practices and deliver the most rapid business benefits," added El Tawil.
Recognising that different parts of a business have different requirements for unified communications, the test can be taken from different viewpoints including an employee on the front line, team managers, and staff responsible for implementing technology.
The test is available at http://www.avaya.com/campaigns/usa/unifiedcommunications/index_business_case.html
