UAE: After an exciting journey of eight weeks of back-to-back online contests, events and quizzes, Thumbay Healthcare Summer Festival came to end with a massive awards ceremony, celebrating the winners and the participants alike. The winners were rewarded at the Prize Distribution Ceremony held yesterday at Thumbay Medicity, Ajman, where they walked away with cash prizes, laptops, mobile phones, iPads, and several other bonuses.
With more than 15,000 participants from across the globe, the competition was tough but encouraged every participant to be a better version of themself. The winner of the bumper cash prize was Mahnoor Malik, who won the jackpot of AED 5,000.
The festival focused on keeping not only the UAE residents but many participants from around the world on their toes and boasted 9 action-packed contests, namely The Kids Talent Show, Baby Show, Pain Assessment Program, Best Smile, Dental Hygiene Champion, Summer Walking Challenge, Weight Loss Contest, and Super Mom Contest. Each competition had three winners including the award recipients from the ‘Common Eye Problems in Summer’ webinar, who also grabbed exciting prizes.
Moreover, the participants were also recognized and given free and discounted tests along with free eye test, dental consultation, fitness test, and body and soul pass to keep a check on their health.
Dr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of Thumbay Group, presented the contest winners with numerous prizes. He stated, “It was essential to create an event for the society that enabled them to come together, interact, and engage while giving them a competitive edge to celebrate their health. We are glad that so many of our residents took one step ahead towards enhancing their health, setting an example for others. We are happy to bring this transformation in the lives of thousands globally as our festival received worldwide participation.”
Staying true to the motto of ‘Touching Life, Health for All,’ the festival was an immense success and encouraged the community to rekindle their relationship with a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, with the encouragement of winning prizes, the festival observed the community pushing themselves harder and motivating those around them to become ambassadors of change. As a result, the festival resulted in a healthier, happier community that rewarded itself with impressive, holistic transformations.
The series of 18 educational webinars organized during the 2 months period, garnered interest from a global audience, with people attending the sessions from India, Pakistan, the United States of America, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and other countries.
Gaining a lot of prominence, ‘Work-Related Orthopaedic Injuries and Management’, ‘Common Eye Problems in Summer’ and ‘Cardiac Care- Heart healthy decisions in Summer’ webinars received huge participation from a wide variety of audience.
