Cementing its reputation as a leader in the development of teaching and learning technology, PolyVision has confirmed that it will attend GITEX, the ICT business gateway to the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region, where it will unveil its newest development, Splashtop for ēno.
Against a backdrop of ever-evolving technology within the education sector, PolyVision has adopted a unique approach to address these challenges, and remain at the forefront of ICT solutions. It recognises that the future of technology for education is fast becoming a combination of space and pedagogy, with technology solutions interwoven. In response, PolyVision has developed innovative interactive solutions, including whiteboards, apps and integrated student collaboration tools to support this future.
Splashtop for ēno, an application, (app) which turns an iPad into a mobile interactive whiteboard, is PolyVision's most recent development. The interactive app that turns a tablet, such as an iPad, into a mobile interactive whiteboard and lets the teacher or student control the interactive whiteboard content from anywhere in the room using the same ēno controls that teachers are already familiar with. This innovative app also allows teachers and students to use their iPads to watch Flash media with fully synchronized video and audio, control favourite applications then annotate over lesson content.
Robert Heitmeier, General Manager at PolyVision, comments: "Globally, students have evolved into tech-savvy, connected individuals who work best in an engaged, participatory learning environment. Educators have recognised this and many of them are integrating technology into lesson delivery to reach these diverse learning groups. At PolyVision, we are creating solutions with this future in mind, creating integrated active learning environments that facilitate real engagement between students and instruction.
"GITEX is the rendezvous of ICT and for us, the perfect platform to share our knowledge and expertise and demonstrate the unrivalled quality of our solutions.
