Travelex, the world's leading foreign currency specialist, earlier this month launched a new money transfer service in Oman allowing customers to send money directly to foreign bank accounts. At that time, Travelex also announced a customer loyalty scheme in the Middle East for Travelex money transfer customers. However, in accordance with the regulations of the Central Bank of Oman, the loyalty scheme is not permitted. Travelex did not launch this scheme in Oman and apologizes for any confusion caused.
