Transguard Group and the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together to deliver world class services throughout the UAE and beyond.
The MoU was signed in Dubai by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, and His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Chairman, Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT).
Sheikh Ahmed said: "I am very pleased to officially bring together Transguard and CERT through this Memorandum of Understanding and I am confident that this will be the start of a good working relationship for the benefit of our mutual clients."
"CERT is highly regarded for taking the lead in the commercial development of education and technology within the UAE and Transguard's technical and consultancy expertise will give comprehensive support to all the relevant business ventures undertaken by CERT."
The MoU will enable the two organisations to forge a strong working relationship and both parties see this as part of a long term plan to encourage commercial initiatives between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The Transguard Group LLC is part of the Dubai-based Emirates Group and comprises seven divisions involved with security, cash management services, consultancy, training and project management, facilities management, airport services and IT hardware and software systems.
In June, the company will open offices in Abu Dhabi within the CERT Technology Park.
Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Nahayan said: "Emirates Group has been playing a very important and strategic role in the development and promotion of UAE globally. CERT is proud to associate itself with Transguard, an Emirates Group company, as it provides critical safe and secure services. CERT's collaboration would also enable Transguard to offer training and development programs to develop safety and security professionals in the region."
