Muscat, Oman, 15 June 2008 - Thrifty Car Rental, a leading car rental company in the Middle East, today announced plans for expanding its fleet of Chevrolet cars in Oman.  Adding significantly to its existing inventory of quality vehicles, Thrifty made a deal with OTE (the dealers of GM in Oman) for 150 new Chevrolet cars.

Thrifty's Chevrolet vehicle types now includes Aveo, Optra,  Epica, Caprice & Tahoe.   An event was organised to induct the 150 new Chevrolet cars to the Thrifty fleet. The keys were handed over by Mr Cyrus Vevaina, MD, OTE-Group to Mr. Murtadha Jaffer, Chairman and Managing Director, Al Haditha Group, in the presence of the GM Middle East delegation headed by Mr. Atef Tlili, Regional Fleet Manager, General Motors Middle East.
