The meetings, incentive, conference and events (MICE) industry places considerable importance on networking events to deliver new contacts and  business.

Recognising this GIBTM, taking place at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi from March 31st - April 2nd 2009, has organised three events around the theme of 'The Power of Networking @ GIBTM' ensuring that exhibitors, Hosted Buyers, visitors and sponsors have several opportunities to participate in social and business networking events during and after the show hours in the evening.

The events start with an Icebreaker reception for to Hosted Buyers and VIP guests, that will be held on the evening prior to GIBTM, 30th March, sponsored and hosted by the Hilton Hotel Abu Dhabi.

The GIBTM Opening Night Welcome Reception in association with meetme and hosted by ADNEC takes place on Tuesday 31st March, as a grand welcome to all participants attending the Gulf's largest event dedicated to the Meetings Incentives Conferences Events (MICE) market.

On Wednesday 1st April, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) and The Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers play hosts to the Gala Evening Reception.  Entertainment and networking in the hotels gardens and pool area will enable guests to cement business relationships made at the show in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
