Signature building in Dubai International Financial Centre to be renamed Legatum Plaza - global headquarters for The Legatum Group
Dubai, 10 April 2012 - Legatum, a private investment group based in Dubai announces the acquisition of Precinct Building 6 at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the financial and business hub connecting the region's emerging markets with the developed markets of Europe, Asia and the Americas. The nine-level building, to be renamed Legatum Plaza, was purchased from a private investor. It is located in the prestigious Gate Precinct of the DIFC, and enjoys a unique position between the iconic DIFC Gate building and Emirates Towers. With Legatum enhancing its presence in the DIFC by relocating its Dubai office into two floors of the property, the 128,000 sq. ft. building will be fully occupied.
