The first fitness equipment to incorporate a digital touch-screen solution to cater to Arabic speakers

Dubai, UAE, 09 May 2011: Technogym, the global developer of fitness equipment and provider of comprehensive wellness solutions headquartered in Italy, introduces a new and innovative solution for combining work, recreation and fitness with the launch of VISIOWEB in Arabic.

VISIOWEB, a unique digital platform integrated into Technogym's cardiovascular equipment, transforms workout time into wellness time and is now available in 14 languages, and is the first of its kind to be available to Arabic speakers.

The technology is available for Technogym's Excite range, a comprehensive cardiovascular collection of fitness equipment available in a variety of designs. VISIOWEB augments the wellness experience by combining time spent training with the added benefit of built-in entertainment.

The interactive technology facilitates an internet, TV and iPod connection during training sessions to offer entertainment that includes music, games and browsing. VISIOWEB also combines a revolutionary business tool for operators to communicate with members, decipher their expectations and improve on overall service level by providing an enhanced experience. Members are also able to plug and train using the Technogym Wellness System Key to guide users through an entire programme that is applicable with the Excite range.

VISIOWEB in Arabic will be showcased at The Hotel Show, the region's premier tradeshow for innovative trends in the hospitality sector, on 17-19 May 2011. The integrated technology will be available for order in the UAE in June 2011.
