CLEARWATER, Fla. - Tech Data Corporation today announced it has established a distribution agreement with Mitel, a leading provider of IP communications solutions. Tech Data, through its Telephony Specialized Business Unit (SBU), is the only U.S. broadline distributor to offer Mitel hardware, software and accessories.

Tech Data will distribute Mitel's broad range of IP Communications Platforms that scale from as few as 10 and to as many as 65,000 users in a single network configuration, Applications and Services Gateways that provide connectivity to Microsoft's Live Communications Server and intuitive desktop devices. The Telephony SBU also will offer resellers innovative Mitel applications for contact centers, mobility, teleworking, speech-enabled unified communications, messaging, collaboration, presence, video conferencing and wireless communications, with specific market propositions for verticals including Hospitality, Healthcare, Retail, Government, Education and Finance.

Its product offering includes IP PBX and VOIP solutions; voice-and-video conferencing applications; and other telephony software, hardware and accessories for leading manufacturers.
