Win to draw Middle East's attention to upscale 'The Haven' condo project in time for upcoming Cityscape Global 2011

TASWEEK Real Estate Marketing and Development, a leading real estate advisor and solutions provider, has announced that its Malaysia-based partner Superboom Projects Sdn Bhd has been named 'Best Perak Developer' at the 2nd SC Cheah Choice Awards. 'The Haven Lakeside Residences,' a Superboom development which TASWEEK is involved in, also won for 'The Best Resort Condominium.'

The timing of Superboom's wins is fortuitous as the Middle East is awaiting the 2011 edition of Cityscape Global, the largest business-to-business real estate investment and development event in the region taking place late this month in Dubai. Cityscape attendees are expected to discuss lucrative Malaysian projects following Superboom's latest honours, among them 'The Haven,' a USD 90  million development of 26-story high-end lakeside condominiums being built in the Perak capital of Ipoh next to a lake with an impressive 14-storey, 280 million-year-old limestone outcrop. The residences will become the tallest buildings in Perak province upon their completion in 2013. TASWEEK markets The Haven and other Superboom developments in the Middle East.

"We are proud of Superboom's two latest wins, which reflects our commitment to teaming up with world-class developers and introducing the best projects to the Arab markets. Superboom had previously won three European awards for quality & excellence earlier this year. Malaysia is an attractive country to visit, live and invest in, which is why we consider it an important destination for expanding our global investment portfolio. We expect The Haven and other Superboom developments to create a strong buzz at Cityscape Global and other upcoming major property events, which will definitely make it easy for us to pitch them to local and regional investors," said Masood Al Awar, CEO, TASWEEK.

The annual SC Cheah Choice Awards is organized by P T Media Sdn Bhd, the publisher of  The New Straits Times -  the country's oldest newspaper and one of the country's leading English dailies by circulation. It recognizes excellence within Malaysia's thriving property development sector.
