AMMAN, Dubai (22 July 2007) -- STS, MENA's leading enterprise ePayment solutions provider and system integrator, announced the launch of its e-Voucher product under the name "PayONE™ Voucher", as a new member of STS's PayONE™ suite. The new product provides prepaid and postpaid service providers with an electronic recharging and payment functionality in a secure and time effective way.

The newly launched product integrates wholesalers/distributors, telecom operators, billers, as well as, retailers and outlets in the voucher dispensing and management processes. It can be owned and operated by a telecom operator, a financial institution, a wholesaler distributor or any third party service operator through multiple licensing and deployment models to enable prepaid and postpaid users to top-up their accounts and pay their bills using cash or credit/ debit cards physically at shops or over the internet.

Built using J2EE open framework, the functionality of the solution includes real-time transaction authorization, inquiry, logging, auto error recovery, intelligent exceptions handling as well as system management tools for administration, configuration and debugging, reporting in addition to a superior encryption/decryption technology. PayONE™ Voucher supports "online" and "offline" modes of operation. The online mode enables the service shops or outlets to request the PIN vouchers on the spot, while the offline mode enables them to download bulk of PINs and store them on the Point of Sale (PoS) devices.

"PayONE™ Voucher supports multiple service delivery channels including dial-up, GSM and IP EFT POS terminals deployed at shops and outlets, as well as PCs and kiosks (over the Internet). PayONE™, which is STS's e-payment processing software platform, allows organizations to implement a powerful, affordable, and reliable payment system. It enables users to make secure online and real-time electronic payments and fund transfers using multiple payment methods and transfer types that result from different electronic channels, including the Internet, kiosks and PoS terminals. PayONE™ Gateway and Arcot TransFort™ are powering PAYNET™, the regional payment processing service operating in MENA, from Jordan, UAE and Saudi Arabia. This service is owned and operated by STS and Visa Jordan.
