Cairo, Egypt - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc., announces today's official opening of a new Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Dornbirn, Austria. The hotel operation is based on a franchise agreement with Panoramahaus Hotel und Gesundheitszentrum Betriebgesellschaft mbH.
The Four Points by Sheraton Panoramahaus Dornbirn was developed with an investment volume of approximately 45 million. The hotel is located in the upper floors of the glas-aluminium ellipse Panoramahaus, the highest building in Vorarlberg, next to Dornbirn's Trade Fair Convention Grounds, which features almost 50,000 square meters of exhibition space.
Dornbirn is a small but vibrant regional center in Western Austria, part of the regional area of Vorarlberg. The city is readily accessible, located as it is in close proximity to Italy, Germany and Switzerland. The major North-South motorway route (A 13) from Austria to Italy passes by Dornbirn. The hotel is located only 20 minutes from Altenrhein local airport.
The Four Points by Sheraton Panoramahaus Dornbirn features 106 guest rooms including four Wellness-Suites with their own Whirlpool. Five meeting rooms and a ball room offer some 450 square meters of banqueting space for about 300 persons. The rooftop Sky restaurant and the Sky bar with open terrace feature a stunning panoramic view of the Rheintal valley. The "4-Point" is a bistro and coffee shop on the ground floor of the building.
The Panoramahaus building also boasts "Home of Balance", a state-of-the-art Wellness Center on about 5.700 square meters. On four floors, this exceptional SPA, wellbeing and fitness area features amongst other highlights a generous covered training terrace, where one may train year-round in the fresh air. In the center of lifestyle-medicine, a number of medical professionals manage special fields like plastic surgery, dermatology, sports medicine, orthopedics and anti-aging medicine as well as the traditional Chinese medicine. The Day-spa programs contain cosmetic and body treatment such as baths, peelings, wraps and different herb- and oil packs. Various kinds of massages, shiatsu- and Reiki treatments are other alternatives for deep relaxation. A specialty is the Floating-Suite, designed to simulate the healthy climate of the Dead Sea. A one-hour floating session is comparable to the relaxation value of six to eight hours of sleep.
