6th November, 2013 - The second edition of IMTEX Oman - a distinctive trade fair showcasing the latest trends in industrial machinery, tools, equipment and hardware - will be held in December on the eve of what is widely expected to be another bumper year for the Sultanate's booming construction sector.
Record outlays announced by the Omani government towards industrial and infrastructure projects at this start of this year are expected to be surpassed in 2014, boding well for the country's thriving contracting firms, as well as machinery and hardware suppliers. It is against this promising backdrop that IMTEX Oman, organized by Global Exhibitions and Conferences LLC will take place at Oman International Exhibition Centre from 2 to 4 December 2013.
As with the inaugural edition of the show, IMTEX Oman 2013 will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, whose support is an affirmation of its ongoing commitment to fostering the growth of Oman's vibrant retail and contracting sectors. Also backing the event are the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) and Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).
Underscoring IMTEX Oman's appeal is the breadth of equipment, products and services that will be displayed during the December show. The range includes industrial machinery, electrical products, machine parts, cables, control equipment, generator sets, pollution control systems, construction tools, cutting tools, cleaning machinery, drilling machinery, moldings machinery, attachments for earthmoving Equipments, and cranes.
Leading machinery and hardware brands from a number of countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Spain, Portugal, UAE and India, are showcasing their merchandise at IMTEX Oman 2013. Their presence at the fair pays testimony to the growing importance of the Omani market to international hardware manufacturers and distributors.
"As a business-to-business expo, IMTEX Oman offers visitors a firsthand glimpse of new equipment, products and services that will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance project and service delivery.
