Abu Dhabi, UAE: SSAT Middle East and the University Of Warwick, UK have formed a unique partnership to offer a groundbreaking course for students and educators in the region. From April, 2014, there will be an international Post-Graduate Certificate in Education available to Arabic Language Teachers. Historically, Arabic Language teaching is ranked low in KHDA inspections as schools struggle to embed modern-teaching strategies with the subject.

The CEO of SSAT Middle East, David Allison, commented

"SSAT Middle East is delighted to bring a unique opportunity to educators in the region. For many years, schools and teachers have struggled to converge the subject with western teaching practices but now we're able offer bridge for schools, teachers and most importantly students who will benefit from this opportunity."

The IPGCE will also be available in English with Drama, Mathematics, Science, and Primary Education. This first course of its kind in the UAE and students will receive a full taught component and be assigned a local mentor to guide them through the qualification.

Significantly, SSAT Middle East is working with a range of organizations such as the University of Warwick to design and deliver teacher training and professional learning programmes to teachers within the Gulf in 2013-14.

SSAT Middle East is proud to announce its expansion within the GCC. More information about SSAT Middle East can be found at  www.ssat.me.
