Dubai -- SSAB, leading Nordic and US-based high strength steel manufacturer, recently announced the appointment of Bion Industrial, a leading manufacturer of superior quality heavy transport equipment and truck bodybuilding solutions, to the prestigious My Inner Strenx brand program. SSAB's Strenx steel are used in the production of Bion's trailer chassis across different product lines, primarily to provide greater structural strength at lower weight, thereby increasing the transport vehicle's efficiency and capability to carry higher loads. After being nominated along with two other manufacturers in the Hardox In My Body brand program in the Middle East, Bion has further extended their strong relationship and recognition with SSAB by being approved as the first My Inner Strenx member in the region.
Globally recognized for high quality steel production, SSAB's Hardox and Strenx are abrasion resistant steel and high strength structural steel grades that help transform service life, operational costs and transport equipment efficiency through usage in different applications within cement, concrete, marine and other industries.
SSAB's trademark brand programs, Hardox In My Body and My Inner Strenx, are developed to support customers and foster long term relationships through joint marketing, technical support and customized trainings. The membership gives customers a quality certification from SSAB, in the form of a guarantee to the end user that the manufactured product is made of genuine Hardox or Strenx high strength steel.
SSAB also extends priority technical support and investments towards customers who are part of these elite programs. This includes workshops to understand utilization of steel properties, industry best practices from around the world, product design sessions and customized training for sales and technical personnel.
From an end-user perspective, SSAB also invests along with customers to increase awareness and recognition of Hardox and Strenx in customer products, and helps educate end-users on the advantages of SSAB's different steel grades and product lines. This is also further enhanced through different co-marketing and branding exercises which are detailed through the program.
