In 2015 WALLIX expanded its footprint into the Middle East thanks to its successful partnerships with VARs SaharaNet and iAxcess. Building on the clear demand to secure, control and monitor the use of privileged access within organisations, WALLIX decided to increase its focus regionally with the opening of the Dubai office as well as the appointments of Ahmed Bouzid, area director for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) and Afi Hashim, regional sales manager.

Mr Bouzid brings more than 18 years of experience in network security to the role of area director. He joined WALLIX in 2010 as part of the EMEA team honing his expertise particularly in the Middle Eastern, North African, Asian, Swiss and French IT landscapes. Previously, Mr Bouzid worked at Sophos, Secuserve and ABC Systems.
Today also sees the appointment of a new regional sales manager to the MEA, Afi Hashim. With a proven track record in the region, Mr Hashim is ideally placed to strengthen WALLIX's capabilities in addressing the need for secure privileged access management within organisations.
