The Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) will be participating in the 10th International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2011) in Abu Dhabi which is due to take place on the 20th-24th February 2011.
SOFEX's participation in IDEX 2011 comes as part of the preparations for SOFEX 2012, the 9th edition of the series. The SOFEX team will convey SOFEX's uniqueness in its focus on Special Operations and Homeland Security and its status as the global meeting place for the decision makers and the industry serving these communities to network and exchange experiences

SOFEX 2012, under the patronage of HM King Abdullah II, the chairmanship of HRH Prince Feisal bin Al-Hussein with the full support of the Jordanian Army and security forces, is set to take place in Amman, Jordan from May 7th- 10th 2012 is expected to continue to surpass the achieved record breaking numbers in previous editions, with 2010 attracting 352 exhibitors displaying their latest state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to an audience of 117 international delegations including heads of state, defence officials, defence ministers and government decision makers.
