Sharjah: Under the leadership of its President, H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) will have a major presence in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) this year.

“SNOC being showcased at ADIPEC is part of Sharjah’s vision to promote its flagship energy player in the national and international energy markets, and to provide our knowledge, experience and best-practice expertise to other players in the energy sector, “H.E. Sheikh Al Qasimi stated. “ADIPEC also offers SNOC a unique opportunity to strengthen our relations and network with international NOCs and IOCs participating at the exhibition.

H.E. Sheikh Al Qasimi also pointed to the UAE’s influential position within global oil and gas markets, and ADIPEC’s own reputation in attracting the leading global decision makers and industry experts. “SNOC complements the positive role the UAE plays in creating sustainable and secure energy supply for the development of domestic and international energy markets,” he said.

In line with the UAE’s strategic vision, SNOC is glad to host the industry round table for gas storage opportunities and the challenges with in region in UAE.

“As Sharjah’s national oil corporation, we work closely with global industry players and experts to implement the UAE’s and Sharjah’s strategic vision. SNOC’s presence at major events like ADIPEC is a clear indication of showcasing and strengthening the Corporation’s own future vision.”

Mr. Al Mosa, the company’s CEO, noted SNOC’s various projects and its continuous expansion as an energy player into an integrated and holistic energy picture to Sharjah and the UAE as a whole. SNOC’s open exhibit at ADIPEC confirms its growing presence in the UAE energy market.

The Sharjah National Oil Corporation was founded by the Government of Sharjah via an Emiri Decree of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
