Sharjah: Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) has participated in the postcard campaign organized by Watani, the National Identity Program, in celebration of the 38th UAE National Day.

SIB called on citizens and residents to participate in the campaign by sending a postcard of affection and loyalty, in cooperation with Watani, to the wise leadership of the UAE, led by H.H. Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nuhayan, president of the UAE, and H.H. Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, in celebration of the UAE National Day.

During a celebration held at the bank, employees gathered around to participate in the festivities. They were led by SIB Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mohammed Abdullah, who was the first to stamp his fingerprint on the postcard, followed by SIB employees.

Says Abdullah: "The high reputations of our country and the respect the world has for the UAE, along with the country's numerous achievements in the fields of finance, science, art, sport and education, reflect the deep insight of our leadership and their wisdom in guiding this country towards a successful and bright future. It gives us a sense of pride, gratitude and confidence for future generations.

"The participation of citizens and residents in sending these postcards reflects their loyalty and affection, and their appreciation of the great efforts made by our beloved leaders in bringing the UAE to the fore. These postcards serve as a promise to protect the achievements of the country, and to give more for the well-being of the UAE," he added.
