Rigorous validation confirms SEHA's commitment to quality

Abu Dhabi, UAE 27 December 2011 - The Abu Dhabi health Services Company (SEHA) has passed its annual ISO surveillance audit, which was performed by TuV Nord, an International Certifying body in the Middle East. Surveillance audits are a key component of the continuing effort to validate SEHA's adherence to International standards formulated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The validation is a testament SEHA's commitment to continuous improvement, quality and customer satisfaction.

ISO 9001:2008 is one of the most rigid certification for process qualifications, and is intended for use in organizations that want to offer customers objective proof of an effective quality management system.

"We are very proud of our achievements in the field of consistent quality management. The ISO certification indicated an adherence to quality that goes beyond merely preparing for specific accreditations, but is an essential element of SEHA's service delivery ethos," said Carl Stanifer, CEO, SEHA.

SEHA initially received recommendation for registration to ISO 9001:2008 in October 2009, and consistently met requirements. The organization recieved ISO certification after a one year process that included Gap Analysis; Documentation; Awareness and internal audit training; internal audit management reviews and finally an Independent audit from TuV Nord in October 2009. SEHA's certification was issued by TuV Nord Middle East, an international leader in systems certification, testing and inspection.
