Middle East - G4S, the world's leading global integrated security company, implemented wide ranging charity initiatives and contributions throughout its offices in the Middle East during Ramadan under a regional initiative entitled 'Ramadan bi Aman' (For a Safe Ramadan). Hundreds of G4S employees, managers and customers volunteered in excess of 2,600 man-hours that served a total of approximately 10,000 beneficiaries across nine countries.

Our employees have been taking a hands-on approach by engaging directly with the beneficiaries of their initiatives. The initiative took place in the form of volunteering and contributions to needy families and orphans through reputable charity organisations, and provision of services to charity organisations to support their activities. Customers from a wide range of sectors including financial, port, oil & gas, retail, aviation and NGO's joined G4S' teams in the volunteer programmes. Ramadan bi Aman complements the company's corporate social responsibility programme and that engages employees, partners, and clients alike in a spirit that embodies the values and culture of the communities that G4S serves.
