Enables Delivery of Improved, Profitable Passenger Services
LISBON, Portugal - SchlumbergerSema, a business unit of Schlumberger Limited, today launched the revenue and operations module of its SemaVoyager product, the first fully integrated management information solution for transit companies. The SemaVoyager productis a fully integrated system built on SAP solutions. It features materials and maintenance, finance and revenue, and operations modules, which provide complete real-time business information -- from fleet management and inventory control to rider analysis and financial performance.
The new revenue and operations module enables operators to easily reconcile and analyze passenger volumes and ticket revenues, as well as more efficiently and effectively manage the delivery of day-to-day services. Combined with fully integrated maintenance data, the new module allows operators to easily see how their fleet and services are performing and where their budgets are being spent. These enhanced capabilities enable them to maximize route profitability, reduce lost mileage and improve timetable adherence.

The added functionality, which the revenue and operations module brings has been written in the SAP programming language (ABAP) and developed to comply with the SAP standard user interface, making it seamless within a SAP solutions environment. Furthermore, this new module leverages SAP Business Information Warehouse, a component of mySAP Business Intelligence (mySAP BI), for operational analysis.
