Samsung launches new series of TVs, LFD monitors, printers and home appliances for the hospitality industry
Dubai, UAE, May 13, 2010 - Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a market leader in flat panel televisions, unveiled today at the opening of the Dubai Hotel Show its latest range of Hospitality TVs, LFD monitors and home appliances. Designed to modernise hotel rooms, the new line-ups contain the latest technologies ready for high-definition digital broadcasts, enabling greater energy efficiency and easy installation.
Throughout the region, the tourist and leisure industry is being faced with new challenges to offer the very best in service and amenities. Throughout the Middle East, business and tourist destinations in countries are urgently seeking professional assistance, products, services and equipment, and the Hotel Show is an essential showcase for hotel, leisure and related products, services and technologies.

Samsung's AV Hospitality range takes centre stage this year, with the LED TV line-up leading the way. This year's models, the UA40C6900VH, UA46C6900VH and UA55C6900VH set the standard for top-of-the-range hospitality TVs, featuring Built-in PMOLED Clock, Bathroom Speaker, Music Mode and Jack Pack Compatibility. For the first time ever, Samsung has also integrated their innovative Internet @ TV feature into their new line of Hospitality TVs.

Samsung's new line of Hospitality TVs combines the features and benefits of TVs found in any modern home with the versatility and convenience that look for in the product. So not only do our Hospitality TVs meet and even exceed the demands of your guest, but they cater to your needs as well," added Vocale.
Featuring an embedded PC, Samsung's 46in LED LFD model takes up less space than its predecessors with only 30 per cent the width of conventional models, with a slim and easy-to-install wall mount. As with all of Samsung's AV solutions, its Energy Star 5.0 rating surpasses industry standards, offering 40 percent lower power consumption levels. With a 120Hz Frame rate, this model offers faster scrolling of text, a RJ45 remote control allowing for longer distance remote management and DVI-out to allow for easy content-sharing on an adjacent display.
Also from Samsung and offering the highest standard of home appliances for hospitality use, the Twin refrigerators feature Silver nano anti-bacterial coating and LED Interior Lighting, while the Crystal Air-Conditioning units include Samsung's proprietary Virus Doctor. Samsung's varied line-up of printing solutions consists of its ML 1660 and ML 1665, the SCX 6555N and SCX 6545N and SCX 4625FW, ideal for hospitality use for both guests and hotel management.
