World's most compact monochrome laser printer with built-in duplex feature will fit into and enhance small office environment
Dubai: Samsung Electronics, the world's No. 2-ranked manufacturer of laser printers, introduces its new ML-2851ND monochrome laser printer series that is specifically targeted for small-size businesses and SOHO users.
The Samsung ML-2851ND, with a print speed of 28- 30 (A4) pages per minute, is the world's most compact monochrome laser printer with built-in duplex feature (364 X 369 X 209.6 mm). Thanks to its compact height and volume, the Samsung ML-2851ND conserves valuable office space, while existing models with duplex feature are usually too bulky to fit on a regular desk. The ML-2851ND is 6cm lower in height, on average, than the other monochrome laser printers in its class.
The two models of this series, the ML-2850D and ML-2851ND, deliver maximum reliability, convenience, and efficiency for home or small business offices, where IT equipment personnel are not available. With the ML-2851ND, which assures high reliability (monthly print capacity of up to 30,000 pages), users can enjoy easy and problem-free operation. This model incorporates the proven reliability of other Samsung monochrome laser printers, in particular the ML-3051ND and ML-3561ND, which have been widely acclaimed for the excellence of their reliable performance, including "Pick of the Year" awards from Buyer's Lab of the U.S.
In addition to its high reliability and compact size, the Samsung ML-2851ND enables fast and convenient print output for users. The standard duplex feature helps to reduce waste of paper and time, and its built-in network capability accommodates a network environment with multiple users. Samsung reduced the FPOT (first print out time) by 8.5 seconds (from the ready phase) to enhance work efficiency by minimizing wait time. An additional cassette, with 250-page capacity, is also available as an option.
"Based on our market research we found that today's small office users are increasingly demanding such attributes as compact size, convenience, durability, and efficiency from their printers," noted Mr. Jangjae Lee, Senior Vice President of the Digital Printing Division at Samsung Electronics. "Our new monochrome laser printer ML-2581ND, the world's smallest monochrome laser printer with built-in duplex capability, is responding to these challenges with its outstanding features. We target home or small office users in vertical markets with the ML-2581ND, which offers Samsung's proven reliability, optimal convenience, and efficiency for their printing tasks," he added.
