Japanese restaurant's cherry blossom blooms as it opens for lunch!
The Crowne Plaza Dubai has given its hidden Treasure, the Sakura Japanese restaurant a bit of a face lift and has now opened its doors for lunchtime quick and easy eating! The restaurant recently had a face lift and is looking stunning with its modern interior and brand new hip new colours and atmosphere.
The name 'Sakura' comes from the Japanese word for the ornamental cherry blossom trees. It's a well known ubiquitous symbol of Japan and cherry blossoms are the enduring metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life.
The Crowne Plaza Dubai has taken this wonderful national symbol and brought it to Dubai, whilst offering the delights of the Japanese cuisine for all to enjoy during lunch and dinner . The restaurant oozes personality and atmosphere with its chefs on the live Teppanyaki tables and fresh sushi bar for informal dining....however if you would prefer a private function we also offer the Tatami private rooms.
A la carte dining
This extensive and very reasonable menu has a range of appetising starters, salads and soups and the most mouth watering pages of Sashimi, Sushi, Makizushi, Yakimono, Nabemono, Menrui Soba, Menrui Udon...the choice is endless. There are 4 seating areas where you can enjoy your meal; the live teppanyaki tables with the entertaining chefs, the relaxed sushi counter, the sit down restaurant section or a the private tatami dining rooms.
Sakura has two of these splendid private tatami private dining rooms available to seat eight people or you can open it up to seat sixteen guests. The perfect atmosphere and ambiance for any intimate party...you can even set up a private karaoke session fro you and your friends! The a la carte menu is complimented by a fabulous Sushi Sushi and Shabu Shabu options.
Open for lunch!
The new lunch menu is divine with an express policy...if lunch is not served within 15 minutes, it's on us! There are large and medium sized bento boxes. These include variety of sliced raw seafood, sirloin beef, sushi chicken and fried prawns. Each Bento box includes salad, rice, pickles, soya bean soup and assorted fruits as well as a complimentary soft drink. Why not choice from the very healthy freshly prepared sushi selection and add a bit of the Tempura vegetables. A full a la carte menu is available and the teppanyaki tables are always heated up ready for live cooking action! The lunch menu prices range from Dhs35 to Dhs80 and is open from 12 noon - 3.30pm.
