ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Monday, January 6th 2014 [ME NewsWire]: Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior concluded a short visit to the Qatari capital, Doha on Monday. During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Zayed met his counterpart, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser hosted a lunch banquet in honor of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He also accompanied Sheikh Saif on a tour to acquaint him with the most prominent heritage landmarks in the city, particularly Souq Waqif, the popular heritage site at the heart of the Qatari Capital, Doha. They also visited the Qatari Satellite TV channel, Al Rayyan.
Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his heartfelt thanks for the warm welcome and wonderful hospitality he received during the visit. He also expressed admiration for the popular heritage landmarks and the high level of public services; and hailed the flourishing cultural renaissance witnessed by the sisterly State of Qatar in all areas.
