IKCO has provided all required facilities for Runna mass production and aims to dispatch 15 thousand units of this car by the end of the current Iranian year, i.e. March 20.  

Ali Sheikhzadeh, IKCO Deputy CEO in passenger car production in this regard said that his department has established the body production line for this car. He also added that passenger car Deputy has regarded this technical program as a top priority program over the past months and now everything is ready to start the production on schedule. 

"Our previous experience in this field has enabled us to quickly prepare the ground for production of new cars based on the top management's policy," the Deputy added. 

In order to improve quality and engineering capabilities, over 38 projects have been implemented in passenger car deputy of IKCO, Sheikhzadeh added and restated that enjoying motivated and skilled work force, passenger car deputy can provide any required facilities for the production of new cars.  

Runna is an economy car that has been designed with the purpose of developing national brand based on the most modern standards. IKCO has targeted the production of 150 thousand units of this car a year in its domestic and overseas production plants, 25 percent of which is going to be allocated to global sales. IKCO has scheduled to produce 15 to 20 thousand Runnas this year.
