Multi-platinum selling RnB artists touch down on April 3rd

Dubai, 18th March 2007 - Club Fresh, Dubai's award winning events company, in association with Urban Education and presented by Splash, today announced multi-platinum selling RnB legends 112 as their next international act, scheduled to perform on April 3rd at one of Dubai's most highly acclaimed venues, Chi at The Lodge.

With a string of hugely successful tracks including 'Peaches 'n' Cream' and 'Dance With Me', the soulful sounds of 112 are enjoyed across all denominations and musical appreciations. The group comprises of Mike Keith, Quinnes "Q" Parker, and Marvin "Slim" Scandrick, and was the first to emerge as a major attraction on the startup Bad Boy Records in 1996. Multi-platinum selling albums, MTV video awards and a grammy later, 112 has become synonymous with one of the genres most successful and respected groups.

An everyday group of school chums, Mike, Slim, and Q hailed from Walter F. George High School, and a family-like atmosphere has permeated the group from the beginning. Originally known as Forte, the group members first became acquainted in middle school, but the adolescent musical quartet was born when a teacher at their high school asked the boys to perform at a school coronation, and the four gelled musically into a polished trio. A charismatic chemistry developed between them, and the boy band was born.

Club Fresh will add 112 to their list of massively successful international RnB acts including the recent Montel Jordan and Dru Hill shows at The Mix. Fresh were also the group responsible for organising sell-out international acts including Artful Dodger, DJ Matt White, Nina Sky and Amerie, house legend Brandon Block Paul Jackson, Alex P and Tall Paul, spanning both Abu Dhabi and Dubai emirates. The upcoming 112 performance is set to cement their position as leaders in the events field for both urban and house acts, and further prove that no star is out of reach for the world-wide Fresh network.

Tickets are priced at 125 AED for regular and 200 AED for VIP. VIP tickets will include a meet and greet for fans to meet the band and will be limited to only the first 100 sales. Fresh's residents DJ Shero, MC Mocoppone and MC Malcom will be warming up for the event with Chi residents DJ Rone Jaxx and DJ Dany Neville keeping the night going and spinning the freshest RnB tunes well into the early hours.
