Bahrain-based Reynaers Middle East’s (RME) key role in reinforcing the Reynaers Aluminium brand in the region, its business operations and its current status in the market came under the spotlight during a recent meeting in Belgium.
Ali Khalaf, Managing Director of RME, the regional office of the Reynaers Aluminium met the newly appointed CEO Dirk Bontridder for Reynaers Group at the Reynaers campus in Duffel last month. During the meeting, a comprehensive product strategy was outlined for 2022 based on product demand and the opportunities available in the various countries served by RME.
“Dirk comes along as a visionary leader and I have full confidence he will support us in our mission to become a market leader,” explained Khalaf about the meeting. “We got the opportunity to discuss several growth strategies in relation to internal and external environment of the company.”
Bontridder took charge at Reynaers Group from Martine Reynaers in May, with responsibility for the day-to-day management and the development of the family business’ strategy. He brings more than 25 years of international management experience in various manufacturing and service sectors to the leading European aluminium solutions provider.
Reynaers Group enfolds its several diverse companies in three business units, namely aluminium architectural solutions (Reynaers Aluminium), steel architectural solutions and building products. Founded in 1965, the Reynaers Group is active in more than 70 countries worldwide with 40 subsidiaries and 2,400 employees.
Reynaers Aluminium specialises in the development and marketing of innovative and sustainable aluminium solutions for windows, doors, curtain-walls, sliding systems, sun screening and conservatories.
Reynaers Middle East is based in Bahrain and caters to the entire GCC region in addition to Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq. It has branch offices in the UAE, Egypt and Jordan. It has a 3000 sqm warehouse facility located in Hidd, Bahrain, which is among the highly organised and well-equipped aluminium systems warehouses in the kingdom. This includes a packing area, and designated inventory, dispatch and office areas. This facility enables RME to meet customers’ requirements for speedier deliveries whilst maintaining the international quality of the product, Khalaf emphasised.
