Ajman - March 27, 2008: Tech Group subsidiary and Ajman's premier concrete mix firm, Remix Tech, opened a new batching plant today, in answer to the high demand for concrete mix on construction sites across the UAE.
The plant was opened at a cost of AED 40 million, and another, smaller plant was also opened at a cost of AED 5 million, bringing the total cost for the batching plant to AED 45 million. Remix Tech is also in the process of purchasing 86 trucks for the loading and transportation of ready mix concrete, and has placed an order for an additional 20 trucks to be delivered shortly after these.
"The ongoing construction boom in the region is excellent news for us, and we are putting in place the necessary measures to ensure that we are able to keep up with the demand for quality ready mix concrete. The additional plant and vehicles will enable us to meet and surpass current demands, which ultimately translates into faster completion of construction projects," said the Tech Group CEO, Mr. Ali Ghaleb Jaber
Remix Tech is located in Al Jurf, Ajman, and opened its doors in 2006. Within its first's year, the company produced more than 450 000m³ of ready mix concrete to various construction sites in the region. Its current production capacity is 450m³ per hour.
