Abdo Feghali behind the Wheel of a Subaru Impreza N12

In an initiative welcomed by his fans and supporters, the Lebanese rally champion Abdo Feghali will be driving a full-option Subaru Impreza N12 equipped with the newest technologies, the same car driven by the leader of the Middle East rally championship and the title holder, the Qatari champion Nasser Al-Attiyah.

Red Bull driver declared that his only aim is to win the Rally of Lebanon and seemed confident in his capacities: "With the Subaru Impreza N12, I have the same weapon as Al-Attiyah, which will enable me to compete with him. With equal chances mechanically, I expect to be faster on our tarmac roads and to win the 29th edition of the Rally of Lebanon organized by the ATCL especially that Al-Attiyah is used to sandy roads. He will be surprised by the level of competition he will face."

The Lebanese driver said being set for additional victories with Red Bull by his side and with the assistance of his experienced copilot Joseph Mattar. He also thanked Amine Bazergi & Co., Subaru's agents in Lebanon, for their moral and financial support in bringing the Subaru, the Group N

world champion for the past two years, to Lebanon for the first time. Feghali declared he should not have any problem getting used to the car fast and said: "This is the advantage of Lebanese drivers, they can drive any car by simply sitting behind the wheel", indicating that his own car is a Subaru Impreza, which is not much different from the Group N car.

Feghali acclaimed the "Red Bull Head to Head" challenge, the rally 1st SS show to be held in the Camille Chamoun Sports City on Friday evening, June 30, 2006. He declared that this event that is usually organized in international competitions is being held in the Middle East for the first time, which will make this year's rally different from any other. "I give a lot of importance to the first stages. I won 3 out 4 of the last stages I participated in and I am looking forward for my 4th win. I think that this year, the first SS will be breathtaking for the spectators and motorsport lovers, without mentioning the expected media coverage."
