Raya International Services delivered an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for Saline Water Conversion Company (SWCC) automating its financial and supply chain management business cycles. Accommodating the need to automate some of SWCC's core business cycles based on ERP best practices, Raya implemented the three tracks using Oracle e-Business Suite.
The implementation of the ERP solution, which complies with the best practices and future state solution proposal, allowed for the integration, modernization and automation of SWCC's business procedures across all sectors and departments. This helped in supporting its privatization process and contributing to measuring business units' performance against plans and budgets. Furthermore, it improved the recording and reporting functionalities of all SWCC core accounting transactions system (Cash and Accrual).

It is worth mentioning that Saline Water Conversion Company (SWCC) is a governmental organization responsible for desalinating sea water, in order to augment the supply of potable water to coastal and inland cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SWCC is also the second largest electric power producer in the Kingdom. Under SWCC, the production of desalinated water increased more than 100-fold, while the power production also registered a greater than 80-fold increase within two decades.
