Welcomes new Recreation Manager and Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Ajman, United Arab Emirates - Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman announces the appointments of Prabath Chaminda as Recreation Manager and Manish Banerji as Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
Chaminda's main responsibility as Recreation Manager is to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the beach and health club facilities. He is also tasked to help maximise revenue-producing opportunities relating to the beach and health club by establishing relationship with its existing clientele and securing new leads.
As Assistant Executive Housekeeper, Banerji's role is to assist the Executive Housekeeper in the supervision and smooth operation of the department. He is also responsible in ensuring that the guests are provided with high standard of comfort by inspecting the rooms and hotel's common areas, and coordinating with the respective departments including engineering and food and beverage.
Chaminda boasts extensive experience in recreation operations in the hospitality sector. Before joining Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman, he was the Assistant Recreation Manager in Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah. He was also previously Recreation Supervisor at Six Senses Resort and Spa in Oman, Recreation Team Leader at Jumeirah's Wild Wadi Water Park, and Lifeguard at Hilton Hotel in Al Ain.
Banerji has more than 10 years of experience in the hotel industry. Before moving to the UAE, he was the Deputy Housekeeper at The Leela Palace in New Delhi, India. He started his career in hospitality as Management Trainee in The Leela Kempinski Hotel and progressed to the role of Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
