DOHA, Qatar, 13 June 2010: In a clear demonstration of its passion for learning, QFBA has unveiled its new corporate website featuring a refreshing design plus enhanced features.
Simple, elegant artwork combined with a calming colour palette creates a distinct 'look and feel' very much unlike other organisations' often busy and cluttered websites.
As soon as visitors log in to www.qfba.edu.qa, they are greeted by the Kiteman who then takes flight and follows a skyward path - a symbolic representation of the learning journey that participants undergo at QFBA - before revealing the homepage. The bright orange curve in QFBA's new corporate brand is also a direct reference to this unique transformational journey at QFBA.
A straight-forward hierarchy of information ensures that visitors find the information they require whilst enjoying the simplicity of the design. The website design including the new QFBA logo were a brainchild of Human, a creative agency in London, and was inspired by QFBA's different approach to learning - one that is centred around the individual's needs now and into the future.
Ruth Holden, creative director at Human, says, 'It is not often that you get the opportunity to create a brand from the very beginning, so when QFBA asked Human to work with them to do exactly that, it was an exciting prospect for us.
QFBA wanted a creative brand solution that captured the personality and spirit of their organisation along with their unique approach to learning. The website needed to reflect these qualities too.
It has been a very rewarding creative journey and we look forward to seeing the brand grow and develop along the way.'
A very relevant feature of the new website is its integration with a tool designed to provide complete information on QFBA's latest and upcoming programmes. Developed internally by the QFC Authority IT Department, the programme management tool will allow visitors to register their programmes of interest and in later phases facilitate enrolment, booking sessions and online payment in a highly secured environment.
QFBA joins ictQatar, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Foundation, Aspire Sports Academy, Qatar Science and Technology Park and many other prominent organisations whose websites were also developed by Gulf Interactive, the leading web agency in Qatar.
Simon Campbell, managing director at Gulf Interactive, says, 'We welcomed the opportunity to work with QFBA on what has proved to be a superb project. The Gulf Interactive team seamlessly integrated their programming expertise with cutting edge know-how to bring the designs to life.'
Jon Morton, director at QFBA, says, 'We believe learning is a journey, not an event. We have developed QFBA around this principle and have designed the website to reflect this belief. We are delighted with the energy that the new website brings and hope it represents the passion that we have around what makes learning really work.'
