LE BOURGET, June 19, 2011 - A Qatar Airways' Boeing 777-200LR (Long Range) landed today at Paris-Le Bourget Airport for the 49th International Paris Air Show. The 777 is the third Boeing airplane to touch down at Le Bourget today, following an Air Berlin 737 and a Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental earlier. Qatar Airways will have the airplane on static display during the Paris Air Show, showcasing its 5-star interiors, reliability, operating efficiencies, and payload and range capabilities.

The Qatar 777 is one of five Boeing airplane models to be on display during the biannual aerospace exhibition.

One of the fastest growing airlines in the world, Qatar Airways currently operates 25 Boeing airplanes: eight ultra-long range 777-200LRs, 15 777-300ERs (Extended Range) and two long-range 777 Freighters.

The Boeing 777 family is a complete family of jetliners that is preferred by passengers and airlines around the world. The market-leading 777 family has the ability to fly point-to-point to bypass crowded and busy hub airports.
