More talks to follow at spiritual programme "Al Eman Oasis" at Ramadaniat Al Qasba
Sharjah: The series of inspirational Islamic talks delivered by famous Islamic scholars as part of Qanat Al Qasba's Ramadan celebrations has been attracting a big number of visitors to the location. Sponsored by Nasser Bin Abdultaif Al Sarkal Est. Bridgestone, the talks are part of Al Eman Oasis at the month long Ramadaniat al Qasba celebrations.
Prominent Canadian scholar Dr. Abdullah Hakim Quick will once again deliver a series of religious lectures starting on September 29, with "Islam: The Universal Way of Life". "Ramadan the Month of Guidance" will follow on September 30 by the same speaker.
The lectures that begin at 10.30pm have proved to be a success among a wide range of audience. The series which kicked off with Shaikh Sulaiman Bin Saleem Alllah Alraheely's talk will continue with English as well as Arabic speaking scholars educating the visitors on a host of contemporary Islamic issues.
The second week of Al Eman Oasis brings in some interesting topics in Arabic from number of famous scholars such as Shaikh Salem Al Taweel, Shaikh Aziz Bin Farhan Al Anzi, Shaikh Abdulla Al Kamali, Shaikh Salim Al Ajmi and Dr. Abdulsalam Al Shwayier.
Besides the lectures, Al Eman Oasis, which caters to the spiritual needs of Muslims during this Holy month, is alive with Islamic oriented activities during Ramadan. Besides, a comprehensive Islamic library to browse through or buy.
Ramadaniat Al Qasba 2007 also features 'Fawazeer Al Qasba', the popular riddle event, the Fawanees Al Qasba Tent where a perfect Arabian Nights ambience is recreated with the help of traditional lights and 'Zaman Awal', the "Peek into the Past" event providing visitors with a wonderful opportunity to experience the traditional Emirate way of life.
Qanat Al Qasba is also home to a Fun Zone for children, a supervised playground and a variety of games and tournaments including the Al Qasba Volleyball Tournament organized in association with the UAE Volleyball Union this Ramadan.
In lieu with the Ramadan fun fiesta visitors can also enjoy the daily happenings at Qanat Al Qasba including savouring the ware from some of the best dining destinations in Sharjah, an Abra boat ride under the stars and a ride in the Eye of the Emirates, the tallest observatory wheel in the region.
