Workshop demonstrates world's 1st total body grooming system - Bodygroom by Philips for Nautilus Gym members

Dubai, UAE- 10 September 2007 - Philips Domestic Appliances recently held a workshop in the Crowne Plaza's Nautilus Male Gym, to demonstrate the Philips Bodygroom - the world's first total-body shaver and trimmer for men who like to look their best.

The new Bodygroom shaver and trimmer, which was recently launched into the UAE market, is specially designed for men who are conscious of their looks, as it effectively trims and shaves body hair safely and conveniently.

Leading the workshop, Mr. Ali Borhani Sales Manager of Philips said: "In this region, men don't often have the opportunity to hear and learn about grooming techniques, even though they are an important issue to most men. Demonstrating our products and letting men expressing their concerns about grooming shows that health, fitness and hygiene form a holistic approach to a man's health and wellbeing."

As part of the workshop, the men were invited to ask any questions or discuss issues of grooming with the Philips representative - the world expert in men's grooming.

"We have noticed a growing trend amongst our gym members, that being fit isn't enough - a lot of importance is placed on looking really good as well. Men in this region have always regarded hair removal as an important part of their hygiene, but until now, getting information and learning about the techniques has been a challenge, as it's not really something that is talked about," said Mr. Rick Benson,  Director of the Nautilus Gym - Crown Plaza.

"It's been very interesting to see how the Philips' Bodygroom works, and to learn more about proper grooming. Health and fitness are really important to me, as is looking good and I like the fact that grooming and body care together can make me feel better about myself and my overall physical condition," said member of the Nautilus Gym.
