PASADENA, CA (February 4, 2011) - Parsons is pleased to announce that it will sponsor HUQatar Projects 2011UH, an event dedicated to Qatar's major projects, including rail, water desalination, water reuse, road, port, and airport developments. The event will take place from February 7 - 9 at the Grand Hyatt, Doha, Qatar.
In addition to sponsoring the event, Parsons Lead Transportation Planning Expert, Dr. Ibrahim El Sanhouri, will present his views on how integrating the various transportation modes can contribute to a more efficient and sustainable future. Dr. El Sanhouri holds both a master's and a doctorate degree in transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Qatar Projects 2011 will provide an in-depth look at the current economic developments and financial landscape in Qatar. It will also provide an opportunity to discuss the impact of mega events on Qatar's infrastructure requirements. The event is organized by MEED (Middle East Economic Digest).
