Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Panasonic headquarters for Middle East and Africa is now ISO 14001:2004 certified, it was announced today.

An ISO 14001 implementation and certification proves that Panasonic's Environmental Management System has been measured against a best practice standard and found compliant. The Bureau of Assessment Services (BAS), the ISO certification body, awards accreditation to companies who meet these strict standards.

This certification is in line with the company's group-wide global commitment of driving eco-innovation and becoming the No.1 Green Innovation Company, by 2018 -its 100th anniversary.
