Hi-tech eSEAT incorporating advanced consumer electronics, communication and relaxation gadgets offers touch-button luxury.
Panasonic, the leading global manufacturer of home entertainment products will be unveiling the eSEAT, which is an ultimate all-in-one personal entertainment seat at GITEX Dubai 2002. The hi-tech and innovative product is a voluminous luxury chair that incorporates an array of home entertainment, communication and relaxation equipment.
The audio-visual equipments that are fitted in the broad wood-paneled arms of the huge seat include a 15-inch wide-screen LCD TV, VCR, DVD-RAM, a Home Theatre System, Notebook PC and the eSEAT also comes with a 50-inch Plasma display TV. For relaxation, there is compressed air massage, vibrating leg massage, negative ion effect and full-flat reclining. For the security conscious, there is the option of an indoor/outdoor surveillance camera, panic button and electronic locking system.

The entire operation of the e-Seat can be handled by remote control through the Touch Panel System Controller. ”
The audio-visual equipments are stored within the seat’s broad arms, which resembles wooden cabinets. The beautifully designed chair has high quality calfskin seats, thus providing it with an aesthetic look.
The eSEAT was launched in Japan in the spring of 2002 and will subsequently be available overseas. Panasonic is now taking orders for customized systems to cater to customers’ requests.
