The award marks a great recognition from the hospitality industry and strengthens Palais Namaskar's ambition to become the Best hotel in Africa.

November, 9th 2012, Marrakech (Morocco) - Palais Namaskar Marrakech is delighted to announce that it has been awarded "New Build of the Year - Construction" at the European Hospitality Awards 2012. Held in London on Friday 2nd November, the event gathered together more than 300 hospitality professionals to celebrate the best achievements made within the industry during the past twelve months.

Philippe Soulier, creator and owner of Palais Namaskar, declares: 'This award is the recognition of six years of hard work and creativity shared with our architect Imaad Rahmouni and the technical team under the management of Cyril Catteau.  It highlights the architectural excellence of the hotel, the Moroccan artisans' know-how and validates our ambition of becoming the Best hotel in Africa.'

Opened in April 2012, Palais Namaskar, which is one of Oetker Collection masterpiece hotels and member of the esteemed Leading Hotels of the World, has been beautifully developed following Feng Shui principles.  

Hosting 41 uniquely designed suite and private villas surrounded by pools and water features, Palais Namaskar is more than a hotel, it is a destination itself.

The judges, including expert's panel and General Managers, were extremely impressed by the quality offered: "We felt that Palais Namaskar showcased a wonderful marriage of modern flourishes with a true sense of place and heritage that completely avoids any pitfalls of pastiche. Its architecture, interiors, location, amenities and overall service philosophy combine to create an escapist's paradise and a model for culturally sensitive developments worldwide."

A vision totally shared by Frédéric Picard, General Manager of Palais Namaskar who said: "We are very proud to have been selected by a top judging panel. A total of 13 awards were featured during the ceremony. Among them, three were won by Palais Namaskar's sister hotel Le Bristol Paris, including "Hotel Spa of the Year", "Best Hotel Restaurant", and "European Hospitality Awards overall winner for 2012".
