Cinema 1, one of Orbit's most favorite Arabic movie channels, is set to broadcast a series of well-known Arabic movies during the Holy month of Ramadan.

The entertainment will kick off with "Africano", a movie about the life of the ambitious and emotional vet, "Bader", who inherits a zoo from his uncle, located in South Africa. "Bader" travels with his cousin with whom he's in love and his sister's husband and the story begins in the bushes. The movie, starred by Muna Zaki and Ahmed Al Saqqa, and directed by Amro Arafa, will be aired on Friday 15 October at 19:00 GMT.

On Tuesday 26 October, 19:00 GMT, Channel 1 will air "Al Khate'oun". After stealing a jewelry case from one of the customers in the hotel he worked in, "Osama", a waiter, seeks hiding in a cafeteria managed by Mansour and his wife Salma, a belly dancer. "Osama" is being chased by a gang who are trying to steal case. As the story unravels, "Osama" gets involved with Salma in an illegal relationship and she persuades him into murder her husband for his money. After failing to commit murder, Osama regrets his actions and falls in love with "Mansoor's" daughter "Najla'a". The movie is starred by Nilly, Hala Shawkat, Osama Khulki and Abdullatif Fathi.

On Tuesday 2 November, 19:00 GMT, famous actors Hassan Yousef and Suhair Ramzi star in "El A'alam sanat 2000". The movie features a scientist who feels the danger of demographic explosion on humanity's future and sets to produce and invention that can shrink the size of a human being to a few centimeters. One of the scientist's assistants experiments the new invention on his younger brother and the comedy begins.

On Tuesday 9 November, the comedy "Qaher Al Fada'a" will be aired at 19:00 GMT. Starred by Mahmoud Jabr, Ighra'a and Adeeb Qadoura, the movie is about Waleed, who returns from France holding an astronaut's degree. Waleed clashes with the governmental routine in his country and his French wife has to face the difficulties of dealing with this new society.

On Tuesday 16 November, 19:00 GMT, Channel 1 will air "Maqlab Hob", a movie about a university student who fights for his future and his desire to marry one of his colleagues. Both face difficult social circumstances. Nahed Jabr and Mahmoud Yusri are the movie stars.
